Evidence records what caused the Runtime to produce a Finding and keeps the result independently reviewable.
Chapter outcome
You will be able to separate a source fact from explanation, inference and limitation.
Source Evidence
The affected file, line and code excerpt show the exact source fact matched by the rule.
Context Evidence
When a rule requires more than one local token, the report records supported structural, schema or reference context used to interpret the source.
Rule Evidence
The stable rule identity and version connect the observation to a documented detection contract in the Rule Registry.
Evidence boundary
Evidence states what the Runtime observed in the snapshot. It does not silently claim browser execution, merchant configuration or app-injected behavior.

Confirm the file and excerpt, compare the observation with the rule detection method, then read Validation for what was accepted and what remains unproven.
