Validation
Validation records the Runtime’s verdict after checking a Finding against its rule and available context.
Chapter outcome
You will be able to interpret a verdict without treating static verification as a universal guarantee.
Accepted
The available Evidence satisfies the rule’s documented detection contract for the supported context.
Rejected
The candidate did not satisfy the rule after contextual checks and should not remain an accepted Finding.
Needs review
The Runtime found relevant Evidence but cannot establish a final supported verdict from the snapshot alone.
Confidence
Confidence describes strength of support for the verdict. It is separate from severity, which describes technical impact.
Known limitations
Every result should state what was not established, such as browser behavior, app injection, merchant configuration or runtime data unavailable in the archive.
